Paul N. Beegle, 87, of West Salem, passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2022 at his residence.

He was born November 4, 1934 the son of Ray B. and Alice M. Imhoff Beegle. On November 8, 1953 he married Faye Franks. She survives.

Paul had worked as an aircraft mechanic at Wooster Airport and Ashland Airport. He then went on to work at Rubbermaid where he retired in 1997. In lieu of service in the military, he volunteered with Brethren Service at community children’s homes located in Indiana and Pennsylvania alongside his wife, Faye. Paul was a lifelong member at Mohican Church of the Brethren, in West Salem, where he served as a Deacon, a Sunday School Teacher, and Treasurer. He was also served as District Treasurer for the Brethren Church. Paul will always be remembered for fixing things around the house and in the community, as well as volunteering to help with Brethren Disaster Relief wherever needed throughout the country. He enjoyed woodworking, going to flea markets, traveling with Faye, and going antiquing. Most importantly, Paul always put God first in his life.

In addition to his wife, Faye, surviving are his children Christina (Mike) Ramsier of Sterling, Regina (Jim) Bowers of Wooster, Zane (Renae) Beegle of Apple Creek, and Shaun (Portia) Beegle of West Salem; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and his brother Dr. Earl (Seija) Beegle of Florida.

Preceding Paul in death are his siblings Marie Wiles, Helen Smith, Arthur Beegle, and Doris Miller.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 4, 2022 at 11:00AM at Mohican Church of the Brethren, 7759 Elyria Rd., West Salem, OH 44287. Friends will be received 1-hour prior to the start of the service.

  3. To Faye and the rest of the family, Paul was always be like an uncle to me. If our paths crossed on Sunday at church he always shared a memory at of my own father from church or working at Rubbermaid. We would talk finances and other goings on in the area. What a blessing to have known Paul! May our heavenly Father hold you fast during this time of grief. We will see him again in Heaven’s Glory!
