Gregg A. Wuchter, 68, of Wooster passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at Wooster Community Hospital.

He was born June 1, 1954 in Akron the son of Gerald and Ethel Powers Wuchter.  On June 6, 1987 he married Carol J. Gaumer.  She survives.

Gregg served his country with the United States Air Force. He loved animals especially his dogs and cats.   He enjoyed the outdoors going fishing and hunting, riding his Triumph Motorcycle.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Carol, is his son Jeremy (Amy) Gaumer of Hilliard; granddaughters Rory and Lyric Gaumer; brother Gerald (Mary Lee) Wuchter of Bath; sister Lemoine (Tim) Mendiola of Burbank and mother-in-law Lucille Gaumer; many in laws, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Services will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to Wayne County Humane Society, 1161 Mechanicsburg Rd., Wooster, OH 44691.

  2. Shocked and saddened to know of Gregg’s passing. While our paths have not crossed recently, we’ve known one another for many years. Please be kind to yourselves.

  4. A honest soul as I knew him. I have never forgotten the many times spent together including water balloon jousting in his Saab.
