Deborah K. Hoder, 60, of Wooster passed away Monday, November 28, 2022 at her residence.

She was born April 8, 1962 in Columbus, OH to John and Shirley Mays Baumgartner.

Deborah had worked at Cora’s Deli in Wooster, until its closing.  She had also worked at Every Woman’s House for several years, and LUK for 10 years.  She loved camping, being outdoors and loved her family. Deborah was a strong supporter of A.A. and especially The Beacon House.

She is survived by her son Corbin Hoder; sister Karen (Jerry) Osburn; sister-in-law Kaye Wade; grandson Jenden Schrock and several nieces and nephews.

Deborah was preceded in death by her daughter Jamie Sargeant in 2018; her parents; and brother Jeff Wade.

No services will be held.

Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help defray expenses.

McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster, OH is assisting the family.

  5. Oh Deb I will miss running into you. I have so many fun memories of our good times during the LuK days. You were an inspiration to me to be myself and March to the best of my own drum. Love you Deb and hope you are in eternal peace with our Lord

  6. I will miss you so much Deb. You were a sister to me. We share so many great memories. We loved going swimming at Baylors Beach, just relaxing and loving life. You had a great sense of humor. My heart breaks that I won’t be able to see you again. I know your with Jamie , give her a hug for me. Someday we will meet again. Love u always my friend.
