Pamela “Pam” Jane LaCoste, 60, of Wooster died unexpectedly at her home on Saturday, December 10, 2022.

She was born August 21, 1962 in Cleveland the daughter of James L. and Barbara Hall Hooper.

Pam had worked for over 20 years as a real estate title examiner. She had a green thumb, loved doing crafts and reading.  Pam especially loved being a grandmother.  She was a best friend and a great sister, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her daughter Chelsea (Devin) Collins and son Tobie J. Hooper both of Wooster; grandchildren Delilah, Jaxon and Jameson Collins; mother Barbara of Kent; brother Laucke Hooper; sisters Barbara “Kitty” (Rob) Wheeler, Debbie (Gary) Marr, Wendy (Paul) Rohkamm and Diane (Gary) Griffith.

Pam was preceded in death by her father and a brother Leo Hooper.

There will be no services at this time.

McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.

For those who wish, contributions may be directed to the funeral home to help defray expenses.

    So, so sorry to hear about Pam’s passing. It’s shocking and sad and I wanted to tell you how sorry I am to hear about it. I wish Pam and I had stayed in touch better than we did – it just goes to show you that you never know what’s going to happen next. Take care and God bless.
