Stephen P.  “Reeb” Fry, 61, of Wooster passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at his residence.

He was born April 14, 1961 in Wooster, to Everett and Stella Tersigne Fry.  On July 3, 1998 he married Chris A. Lake.  She survives.

Stephen was a self-employed dry wall finisher and owner of Fry’s Drywall & Repair for over 40 years.

He enjoyed gardening, and loved his dog Brutus! He especially loved his family who were the most important part of his life.

In addition to his wife Chris, he is survived by a son Timothy James (Tiffany) Fry of Wooster; grandchildren Taylor Mae Wilkinson, Toree Alison Fry and Tarynn Kasey Marie Fry; a great granddaughter Oaklynn Grace Humrichouser; a brother Ron (Janet) Fry of Wooster; sisters Cindy (Stuart) Ludlow of Orrville and Connie (John) Fishell of Wexford, PA and many nieces and nephews.

Stephen was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends will be received Sunday, December 18, 2022 from 4:00PM -6:00PM at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster.

  4. Dear sweet Chris & family. Parkview that’s how far back I remember Steve. I think we have both had Miss Potter. I never knew him by Reebox but that’s what his close friends remember him by. He was a good man Chris. I love you Chris and am sending prayers and hugs your way!

  5. Chris, My heart goes out to you. Losing a loved one after so many years is not an easy thing to do. I will be thinking of you and praying for you in the days and months to come. I lost my only child, my daughter, a little over two years ago. My only light is that I know that she is with God and Jesus and that I will see her again.   11. I was looking for another and found Steve’s…I will try to contact you….Fred has just had his 3rd surgery this year. He is not doing well. I will see if I can leave him for a couple of hrs. I am so sorry Sweetheart!! Thoughts and prayers are with you!! Shirley

  15. Reeb was such a blessing to know… he excepted people for you they were.. was always up beat when we would run into each other here and there!!! We had many laughs.. and the memories will always be close to my heart!! Rest in Peace Reeb!! Until we meet again! Prayers for the family for peace and comfort!!

  17. Ron and Jan. Just found out about Reeb. My deepest condolences. Any time I was around him there was always a laugh or smile. Lots of fond memories. Praying for peace and comfort for the family in this time.
