Kevin Jay Kelly, 61, of Marshallville left this Earth on Friday, December 16, 2022 at Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare.

He was born September 26, 1961 in Canton to Richard and Laverne Potts Kelly.  On January 9, 2002, he married Jeanette Hash.  She survives.

Kevin had worked for over 40 years for the Wil-Burt Company in Orrville.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Along with his wife, Kevin is survived by his father Richard of Canton; step-son Robert (Jasalyn) Hash of SC; step-grandchild Jackson Hash and one on the way; siblings Audrey, Joan, Melinda and Tim.

He was preceded in death by his mother Laverne Kelly and a brother Greg.

There will be no services.

McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.

  2. My condolences to the family. Kevin was a kind hearted and genuine guy who would always go out of his way to help his coworkers at Willburt. He would always take time to greet everyone with a smile and genuine concern for their well-being and treat all with dignity no matter what their position was at Willburt. He will be missed by many here at Willburt.

  3. Very sorry to hear about Kevin. He was one of a handful of people that I’ve worked with who was always willing to take time to help me when needed. Lost a good one!
