“Together Again”

Carolyn J. Johnson, 88, of Fredericksburg passed away Thursday, December 22, 2022 at Sycamore Run Nursing Home.

She was born January 19, 1934 in Wooster the daughter of Elmer E. and C. Fern Bronson Boreman.  On August 8, 1967, she married Hughel Lee Johnson. He preceded her death on June 10, 1999.

Carolyn had worked Rubbermaid for over 30 years before retiring.  She was a life member of Killbuck Valley Sportsman Club.

She is survived by her grandchildren Alicia Diane (Aaron) Bailey of Fredericksburg, Laura (Chris) Braddock and Michael Rogers both of Wooster; great grandchildren Trevor and Dakota Braddock, Kennedy, Reagan, Sidney and Christian Bailey.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son Stephen Easterday; sisters Donna Humphrey and Marlene Perry.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 31, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Reedsburg Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the funeral home to help defray expenses.

McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.

  1. I am saddened to hear of aunt Carolyn’s passing. Our whole family has struggled with multiple people passing from Alzheimer’s. She had a big personality & lived a full and exciting life and finally found her soul mate when she married Hughel. I hope you will be comforted with good memories of your grandma. because we have memories that bring a smile to ours.
