William W. Priest, 78, of Wooster passed away Friday, January 13, 2023 at Ohio’s Hospice Lifecare.

He was born on May 25, 1944 to Walter Cecil and Mabel Leone Etzwiler Priest.  On October 22, 1975, he married Terrie Irene Long.  She preceded him in death on January 7, 2022.

William served his country in the U.S. Airforce.  He had worked in the oil fields as an operator with Halliburton, Universal, and Petroset, and also for the Wooster Fire Department.  William was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #811 in Wooster.  He enjoyed watching football and westerns.

He is survived by his children Treasa (Timothy) Charbonneau of Medina and James Priest of Wooster; sister Joann (Clayton) Krichbaum of Loudonville; grandchildren Bailey Manke, Izabel Charbonneau.

No services will be held.

  3. Bill and I grew up on adjacent farms. We baled thousands of bales hay and straw together for his Dad. Our prayers are with you
