Gary Ray Beckler, 59, of Wooster passed away at Wooster Community Hospital on Friday, January 27, 2023.

He was born September 4, 1963 in Wooster the son of Thomas L. and Rebecca J. Endsley Beckler. On November 3, 1990 he married Angie Cruey. She survives.

Gary had been a logistics manager at SAM Americas, Inc. in Mogadore for the majority of his life. He was a passionate fan of all things Cleveland sports…especially the Browns as a dedicated season ticket holder of 22 years. He was also an avid golfer. His family and friends, however, were the most important thing to him. Gary truly loved spending time with them. Whether going fishing or simply hanging out – his family and friends were always first…especially his grandchildren who were the light in his life.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Angie, are his son Thomas (Brittany) Beckler of Lakeville; grandchildren Luna Grace Beckler and Evelyn Marie Beckler; his father Thomas Lee Beckler; his brother Jody Beckler; and his “special cousin” Mark Mann.

Gary was preceded in death by his mother, Rebecca Jane Beckler.

A celebration of Gary’s life will be held at a later date.
