Lonnie Guy Rohrer, age 65 passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at the home of his sister Rayene Schrock.

He was born in Wooster, Ohio on March 7, 1957, to the late Raymond & Mary Catherine (Mumaw) Rohrer.  Guy was a retired mechanic builder, artist.  He was a former member of the Wooster Mennonite Church in Wooster.  He enjoyed listening to music, golfing, working on model cars.  He was a kind soul with a generous heart of gold.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Lester Jay Rohrer and sister in law Blanche Rohrer and brother in law Phillip Schrock.

He is survived by his son Dustin Rohrer (Tory), Tessa M. Cadet (Marc), former wife Kim Rohrer; two grandchildren Aarah and Aurelia Cadet; brothers David Lee Rohrer (Leslie), Robert Jon Rohrer (Stacy); sister Rayene Schrock.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home is assisting the family.

  5. So sad to hear a best friend is gone. Many years living with Guy when we were young. The memories I have with Guy will last forever. My heart and condolences go out the the family.

  6. I so sorry of the passing of Guy. He was kind at heart and a hand worker at that. I had tears in my eyes of the passing of Guy. I remember the first day that I saw Guy. He played softball and the name of the team was Roaches.
    My mom asked me to bring Guy at Smithville Western to see Guy, she aways liked Guy. I didn’t. I’ll never forget that I should of dropped everything and go and get him . Love to all who knew Guy and specifically the family. He’ll be missed.
