William R. Kauf, 72, of Wooster passed away Saturday, March 18, 2023 at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus, in Cleveland.

He was born September 23, 1950 to William R. Jr. and Dorcas M. Livingston Kauf. He married Dianna L. Benson. She preceded him in death in 2019.

William proudly served his country with the U.S. Army and went to Vietnam.

William worked and retired from Sprint as a supervisor after roughly 40 years of service.  He enjoyed riding his Harley, being outdoors, fishing and spending the winters in Florida.

William is survived by his son Brian (Lisa) Kauf of Orrville; granddaughters Brianna and Sierra Kauf; great- granddaughter Hadley Mae Goodard; sister LuAnn Locke; and brother Don Kauf.

In addition to his wife, he is preceded in death by brothers Everett, Russ and Johnny Kauf.

No services will be held.

McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.

  4. I met Bill while at the co-op ,sorry for your loss ,he was fun to be around enjoyed the times he talk about going to flordia in the winter prays are with you all.
