James D. Bucklew, 56, of Wooster passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at Wooster Community Hospital.

He was born on April 23, 1966, in Barberton to Rudolph and Patricia Prosser Robinson.

James had worked for Papa John’s Pizza. He enjoyed sports, fishing, gambling, playing the slots, bingo, and watching The Dukes of Hazard and Sons of Anarchy.  He liked attending music concerts. Some of his favorite music artists were Kid Rock, Ozzy Osborne and Metallica.

James is survived by his children Robert Jack Quaal, Lakota Anthony Mathew James Bucklew and Brandin Gage Bucklew; grandchildren Maddix Quaal and Jasmine Fulton; sister Pamela Johnson; and brothers Frank Robinson and Pat Ralston.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 28, 2023 at 10:00 AM at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster.

  4. I love you grandpa I miss you so much and I wish this was all just a scary nightmare. you were my favorite hello and my hardest goodbye. The days don’t get easier as they pass on it only gets harder because deep down in my heart I know your not coming home and your forever gonna be gone. I remember the last time I saw you like it was yesterday you gave me a watch for Christmas and 4 months later I got the news my whole body became numb and my mind was spinning my whole body fell to the ground and I cried for days. I still hold onto the necklace that carries your legacy you will always be my favorite I love you rip grandpa 😕
