Your parents were the kindest people. I loved to see them when they would come into the bank. Frank would always come in to tell me he was “Partly cloudy” and bring in some of Sweet Donna’s amazing sugar cookies! They were the salt of the earth. It’s never easy losing a parent but my thoughts and prayers are with you all that God wraps his loving arms around you and brings you peace and comfort.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Sympathies to the entire family.
One of our memories will be of Donna being in the flower building at the fair. Her and Doris always seem to have so much fun doing flowers and laughing. She did such a wonderful job of writing the minutes for all the clubs she belonged to. Donna and Frank were wonderful people to be around. May memories give you peace.
Lisa and Roger,
We’re very sorry and pray your memories bring comfort. Prayers going up.
Frank and Donna, two of the kindest, sweetest people I’ve ever known and now they are together again. My sincere condolences to the Garret family in their loss of Donna and thanks for all the memories.

Girls, so sorry about your mom. She was so great. She would get me to babysit Lisa and Deb when you were little, she taught me how to make potato chip cookies, she always had a hug for me when I would come home on breaks from college. Your family was so great, it was fun watching you kids grow up.

Sorry to hear about Donna, many fun days at Homemakers.
To Patty and family. It was so sad to read your sad news regarding Donna. I never got to meet her, living as I do in the UK, but Patty always used to update me on all her family news in our correspondence. From all the fine tributes written here, it seemed she (and Frank) were wonderful people who will be forever loved and missed by many. Life’s work well done. God Bless them and those who grieve.
Sincerely,
Diane.
I knew Donna back before 1946 when we lived on S. Elyria Rd. and she lived in Reedsburg. I went to school with her & DuWayne in Reedsburg for 2 1/2 yrs. Then again in Jeromesville . Richard also know the family when he was younger too. We both square danced to DuWayne’s calling dances. She was a wonderful person, always smiling & had a good word for everyone. She will be missed by many. Dwight also sends his condolences to the family. Thelma (Reed) Geitgey.
