Sharon K. Strait, 71, of Wooster passed away Saturday, April 29, 2023 at Wooster Community Hospital.

She was born on March 4, 1952 in West Salem the daughter of Lester and Ethel Cehrs Morr.  On September 4, 1969, she married Cyril Strait.  He preceded her in death in 2021.

Sharon had been a homemaker.  She enjoyed baking and will be remembered for her homemade pizza dough.  Sharon loved to read and write short stories, and she even made efforts to get her stories published.  She enjoyed drawing, being outdoors, spending time with her family, and dancing when her favorite songs came on the radio.

Sharon is survived by her children Danny Strait of Wooster, John (Michelle Mullins) Strait of Rittman, Mike (Carrie Pipher) Strait of Wooster and Lisa (Andrew Britton) Strait of Wooster; 15 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and her brother Mervin Morr.

Along with her husband, she is preceded in death by Danny’s significant other, Kathy Landlaw, in 2022.

No services will be held.
