knowing our departed loved ones are at peace and can, after a time, give us loving quiet and peace inside. They

  9. Doug & Benny to say I’m shocked is an understatement. I just had breakfast with her on Saturday. She was a great friend, and it hurts my heart to think I won’t get to talk to her again. We’d been friends for almost 40 years, and she gave me so much advice (wanted or unwanted LOL). I’m still in shock that she is gone. So sorry for the loss to your family.

  12. I am so sad to have lost a true and valued friend. Over the years Kathryn and I have discussed virtually everything, from Wayne County history to the state of “today’s world”. Each visit to her shop ALWAYS included a LOT of laughs. Her death is a shock which I have not yet been able to fully process. Rest in Peace, My Wonderful Friend. I will miss the interesting interaction that we always had. You cannot be replaced.

  22. I was deeply saddened about Kathy’s passing. I have known her a long time , being a cosmologist she would send me clients for perms , I would send someone requesting a flattop to her . I also took over her shop on North St when she left there.I also had the pleasure of doing her Mothers hair sometimes , wonderful woman! I cut Kathy’s hair for years ,great lady gone too soon ! !
