Sharon L. Smith, 73, of Wooster passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at her residence.
She was born on September 3, 1949 in Wooster the daughter of Raymond and Marion Brown Crosby. On March 31, 1979, she married William “Bill” Smith. He survives.
Sharon was a Wooster High School Graduate of the class of 1967. She worked 30 years at Wooster Community Hospital as a secretary/receptionist, before retiring in 2009. While not her cause of death, she was a warrior who fought Huntington’s Disease for over 20 years. She loved spending time together with her family. Sharon enjoyed playing cards, music, singing, crafts and scrapbooking. She was very active and loved being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, William, she is survived by a daughter Victoria (Rock) Frost and son Brian (Lori Gray) Smith, both of Lattasburg; grandchildren Travis (Monica) Gray, Samantha (Bryan) Loving, Zac Gray, Lucas Frost, Mackenzi Gray, Melanie Frost, Andrew Flinn, Tyler J. (Emily) Flinn, and Dawson (Lilly) Flinn; great-grandchildren Mason and Adalynn Gray, Brylynn and Nicolas Loving, and Brianna, and Larissa and Vanessa Flinn.
Sharon is preceded in death by her parents; step-father Stephen Craig, and brother Richard Crosby.
The family extends special thanks to Ohio’s Hospice Lifecare and Wooster Community Hospital for the loving care Sharon received.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, May 27, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Reedsburg Cemetery.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster, is assisting the family.

I will miss her laugh and uplifting personality she was my favorite relative to be around always looked forward to being with her and just hanging out laughing about some of the other relatives. You’ll be deeply missed.
