  7. Pastor Snyder was a great mentor in my life growing up in the church . He was there when our family was going through hardship & the passing of my brother. He was more then a pastor at our church, he was a friend. We know you are in Heaven.

  8. Our thoughts & prayers are with you Khristy, Kelly, and your families!

Your dad, and your mom, gave of themselves to serve and love their congregation, community, people everywhere, and of course their family! Pastor Snyder brought more healing and teaching to people, than he probably knew, through integrity & compassion in counseling, truth & lessons of the scripture, and sharing & showing the praising our Savior Jesus Christ❤️

Our family, like many with tender hearts right now, can’t begin to count all the times and ways in which he was there for us in times of joy and of sorrow. It’s most fitting to end with the following; words he spoke, and part of a borrowed quote.

We only see a little of the ocean-
A few miles distance from the rocky shore
But oh, out there beyond, beyond our eyes’ horizon,
    There’s more, there’s more.

We only see a little of God’s loving-
A few rich treasurers from His mighty store.
But oh, out there beyond, beyond our life’s horizon,
    there’s more, there’s more.

And finally, Billy Graham had this to say in part about passing “…..I’ll be more alive than ever before! I’ve just changed addresses.”

Thank you for sharing your beautiful parents with us!!! All our love for them and you & yours!!!

  14. The best Pastor and friend anyone could have and we were blessed to have him.
His weekly sermons were personal, and divinely inspired.
I had the pleasure of singing a bit of a hymn with him just a few years ago.
He truly was someone very special, and I’m deeply sorry for your loss.

  28. Khristy and Kelly my prayers and sympathy to you and your families in the loss of your dad. He was a great friend of mine while growing up in West Newton. We graduated together in 1955 and then off to Findlay College where we graduated in 1959. He entered the ministry and my twin brother and I went into education and stayed in Findlay. I have known your dad since we were in first grade and have remained friends throughout the years.
