Thomas B. Huebner, 47, of Wooster passed away Monday, June 26, 2023 as the result of a heart attack.

He was born October 13, 1975 in Wooster the son of Bruce W. and Connie S. Tucker Huebner.

Thomas was an apprentice tool and die maker for Artiflex for the last 5 years.  He loved his job, enjoyed carpentry, building things and maintaining his property which he took a lot of pride in.  Thomas especially enjoyed spending time with his family and had an infectious sense of humor, and always enjoyed a good prank and his Friday morning breakfasts with his dad.

He is survived by his parents; and fiancé Deborah Mendenhall; a son Jacob T. Huebner; a step son Brody M. Horner all of Wooster; sister Karen (Johnny) Baughan of Shreve.

Thomas was preceded in death by his canine companion, Duke.

A funeral service will be held Friday, June 30, 2023 at 1:00 PM at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster with Pastor Paul Bartholomew officiating.  Burial will follow in Prairie Twp. Cemetery.

Friends will be received from 11:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, please plant a tree as a remembrance of Thomas.

    I’m still in disbelief that you’re gone. Even though I haven’t seen you in years, I still remember you as that mischievous little boy with the big smile at family get togethers.
    From reading your obituary it seems as though you were living life to its fullest and enjoyed spending time with your friends and family.
    So proud of the young man you became.
    Your loved ones may have lost you here,but heaven has gained a one of a kind Angel and there’s one brighter star in the sky at night.

  8. I’m sorry for the families loss. I met Tom working at “Luk” Schaeffler he was my Team Leader he was a great leader now he’ll be a leader in heaven. Rest in peace Tom.

  9. I’m saddened to hear of your sons passing. Such grief you must feel. His sister, sons & fiancé too. I’m so very sorry for you all. Praying for God’s Grace to be with you all as you navigate through the stages of grief. He’s now with his best buddy Duke.

  11. It’s still hard to believe you are actually gone . I’ve thought of you often over the years since you left Luk and wondered how you were. You were definitely one of a kind and will be missed immensely. The laughs all of us had at work were times ill always treasure . RIP Thom
