Cheryl C. Smith, 61, of Wooster, passed away Thursday June 29, 2023 at her home.

She was born on March 20, 1962 the daughter of Clarence and Betty Mae Long Pickenpaugh.  On October 11, 1985, she married David Smith.  He survives.

Cheryl had worked at West View Healthy Living as a nurse’s aide and was also a homemaker.  She was a member of West Hill Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a sister Melissa (Chris) Panopoulos of Canton.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, July 8, 2023 at 1:00 PM at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster with Pastor Dan Wingate officiating. Burial will follow in Wooster Cemetery.

Friends will be received 1 hour prior to the service.
