Patricia Ann Fetter died August 10, 2023. She was born November 28, 1935, to Milo and Inez Murray Robison.

She lived a long and happy life in Wooster, Ohio. On June 30, 1956, she married George (Hozy) Hofstetter. He died in 1980. She later married Richard Fetter May 8, 1982. He died in 2010.

Patty worked for 50 years at Maurer’s Drug store in Wooster beginning as a bookkeeper. Her duties then expanded over the years to include purchasing and many other duties. She also worked at the soda fountain counter in the store. Many people will recall her years at Maurer’s where she worked until the store was closed.

She enjoyed playing cards, reading, and golfing. She thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and enjoyed traveling to Lake Erie, Canada, West Virginia and Florida. She was a member of the Wooster Moose and Eagles club.

She is survived by a brother Edward (Jeanette) Robison and her son, Gary (Sally) Hofstetter; Four grandchildren, Mark (Tina) Yesse, April (Shawn) Brehob, Kari (Chris) Willis and Sarah Hofstetter (Jared Henwood). She also has 9 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and stepchildren.

A special thank you to Kim and Charlotte who made her last year at home possible.

Her parents and husbands proceeded her in death as well as two sisters, Betty Carson and Marylynn Zarlengo.

A private graveside service will be held at Wooster Cemetery.

McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., in Wooster, is assisting the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at www.stjude.org.

  1. I loved this precious lady. Worked with her at Maurer’s Pharmacy. She was funny and straight shooting. Sending my condolences to her family and friends. She will be missed.

    So very sorry to hear of your mom’s death. I have a lasting picture of your mom and mine giggling on the beach sitting on their lawn chairs at Kari’s wedding. The obituary was lovely.
