Richard Greenham, 89, of Wooster passed away Friday, August 11, 2023 at the University Hospital Geneva Medical Center.

He was born July 13, 1934 in Detroit, MI to Reginald and Elizabeth Klosterman Greenham.  On August 2, 1958 he married Janet K. Romes.  She survives.

Richard served in the United States Army.  He worked as a quality control manager for RexRoth before retiring in 1999. He was a long-time member of the Elks.  Richard enjoyed golfing, traveling and woodworking.

In addition to his wife, Janet, he is survived by his daughters Catherine Ann (William) Butzer of Marshallville, Judith Lynn (Chip) Way of Sterling and Mary Elizabeth (Lenny) Stark of Orrville; grandchildren Travis Butzer of Barberton, BrieAnn (Jon) Burk of Pennsylvania and Allison (Tyler) Simcox of Uniontown; great-granddaughter Bailey Butzer; brothers James (Carol) Greenham of Bolivar and William Greenham of Florida.

The family would like to express a special thanks to Walter, Joyce and Amanda Porter for their help and for being wonderful caring neighbors.

Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, August 18, 2023 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church, 527 Beall Avenue, Wooster.  Father David Chojnacki officiating.

Inurnment will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery at a later date.

McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.

  9. Remembering family reunions always brings a smile. Special days with the Greenham clan culminating in a bonfire with Rich, Reg or both leading the family sing along with song sheets in one hand and a beer in the other. Wonderful man with a wonderful family.
