Sharon Eileen Potter, 72, of Wooster passed peacefully on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare.

She was born June 23, 1951 in Wooster to Eugene and Helen Flickinger Mullen.  On June 3, 1972, she married Thomas “Tom” Potter.  He survives.

Sharon worked in the data processing department at the Wooster Brush retiring after 43 years.  She enjoyed crafting, especially crocheting, attending car shows and camping with Tom and spending time her family and friends.  Sharon was active in the Wooster Brush retirees group and along with Tom was active in the Mid-Ohio Mopar car club and the Richland Rascals camping club.

In addition to Tom, the love of her life for the past 51 years, Sharon is survived by her siblings Vickie (Mike) Miller of Orrville, Marcia H. Chaney and Renee Mullen both of Wooster, Jeff (Nita) Mullen of Shreve and Melody Tisher of Wadsworth along with many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her in laws W.F. and Laura June Potter.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2024 at 11:00 AM at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster.  Interment will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery in Orrville.

Friends will be received on Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home.

  11. We were so lucky to have shared so laughs and exciting adventures with Sharon. We will hold those precious memories close to our hearts. She loved traveling and sharing stories but most of all Sharon loved people . We will miss her.
