David E. Ellis, 64, of Shreve passed away Wednesday May 29, 2024.
He was born on January 4, 1960, in Orrville to Fleary A. and Beulah Moore Ellis. On May 26, 1979, he married Christine Durbin. She survives.
He was a 1978 graduate of Wooster High School. David worked over 18 years at Frito Lay as a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler. He enjoyed doing martial arts, loved collecting knives, going to gun shows, and especially loved his family.
In addition to his wife Christine, he is survived by a daughter Jennifer M. (William Richards) Ellis of Wooster; siblings Roger (Diane) Ellis of Orrville, James Ellis of West Salem, Debbie (Rudy) Moser of Orrville, Dean (Teresa) French of Wooster, Randy (Shirley) French of Massillon; mother in law Karen Carver of Wooster; father in law Ronald (Carol) Durbin of Jackson Township; brother in law Scott Durbin of Uniontown, Sisters in law Tracy (Derek) Fenton of Houston, TX, and Megan McMillen of Canton; nieces & nephews Roger, Michael, Zebulun, Meredith, Melanie, Nate, Matt, Jeremy, Aaron, Jonathan, Ashley, Sara, Deanna, Adam and Josh; special friends James (Diane) Jones of Shreve and Ben Arn of Wooster.
David is preceded in death by his parents and step father Ermon French.
Celebration of Life to be held on Saturday June 22, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Clear Creek Park, 668 Venture Blvd., Wooster

My condolences goes out to the family I went to grade school with David after that we never kept in contact but he was a great person back then and he will deeply be missed
