“Together Again”

Terrence A. Linch Sr., 82, of Wooster passed away on June 29, 2024 at his home.

He was born August 16, 1941 in Barberton, the son of Louis and Lucille Cavananaugh Linch. On June 18, 1962 he married Gladys O. Council who preceded him in death on December 1, 2019.

Terrence was a 1959 graduate of Barberton High School and had worked as a crane operator for Timken for 32 years, retiring in 1998.  He served his country with the United States Navy and had attended Westhill Baptist Church.  Terrence enjoyed Golfing, Traveling in his RV to Biloxi, Mississippi with his wife. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Terrence is survived by his 2 sons: Terrence Linch Jr. of Wooster and Scott (Kelley) Linch of Wadsworth. Grandchildren: Brad Linch of Brunswick, Andy Linch of Barberton, and Tyler Linch of Wadsworth.  Great Grandchildren: Adalynn and Sawyer Linch. Sisters: Lois and Barbara.

He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents and a daughter Cathy Goforth in 2017.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home 216 E. Larwill St. Wooster.  Burial will follow in Wooster Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5-7 pm at the funeral home.
