Sending condolences to the family. So very sorry to see this. Doug , may you have peace knowing Ben is wrapped in the arms of our Lord with those who have gone before him.
Ben and I were classmates at WHS. I recall how every time we encountered each other, he provided a genuinely kind and warm greeting. I left Wooster in 1969 but periodically visit family and friends and class reunions every twenty years. I’ll miss visiting with Ben this year. God bless Ben and his family Heaven is now friendlier with Ben on board.
What a great man and one helluva an athlete! Bennie always had a smile and was loved by all of us. His parents taught him well and the entire Mitchell family were very special people. He was a big part of our Wooster High School Class of ’64 and we are all thinking of him and thankful for his many contributions to making our high school years so much fun. God bless him and his family.
I am going to miss you man. You were a special friend to me. We had so much fun together, and with our mutual friends over the years.
I will never forget you as long as I live. I hope we meet again in Heaven.
