Mary L. Patton, 56, of Wooster passed away Monday, July 22, 2024 at Akron General Hospital.

She was born on November 18, 1967, in Dover, Ohio to John and Shirley Mae Young Hall.

Mary worked for Metro Media/Circle Graphics for 27 years.  She enjoyed caring for and horseback riding with Zaina, Flower gardening, target shooting at Broken Lock Gun Club, visiting historical sites with Ken.  Mary was a member of the Smithville Historical Society and volunteered with Ken.

She is survived by a daughter Kara Linn (Ken Johnston) Patton of Orrville; granddaughter Zaina Faye Patton; fiancé Ken Lingle of Smithville; her big goofy Doberman Oakley.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A private service will be held at a later date.

McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster will be assisting the family.

  3. I am truly sorry for your loss Kara, Kenny, Zaina, and Mary’s friends. She was a special gal and was taken too young for God not to have a plan for her. She will always be remembered.

  4. Just a shock. Mary was my work mom when I first started at circle graphics. I will miss her and she will always have a special place in my heart. My thoughts and prayers to her spirit and her family.
