Kenneth L. Imhoff, 92, of West Salem passed away Sunday, August 25, 2024 at his residence.
He was born on November 9, 1931, in Lattasburg to Harry E. and Florence I. Miller Imhoff. On June 15, 1952, he married LouElla M. McClure. She survives.
Kenneth served one year in the Brethren Volunteer Service in Castaner, Puerto Rico and did I-W service during the Korean Conflict. He worked for Friendly Wholesale for 13 years, then went to Wooster Lumber & Carter Lumber for 13 years and then after 19 years working at Wooster Brush he retired in 1998. Kenneth was a 1949 graduate of Chester High School where he played basketball. He was a Project Director of the Brethren Disaster Ministries for 15 years. Kenneth enjoyed woodworking, bowl making, and he always enjoyed working hard and watching basketball.
In addition to his wife LouElla, he is survived by his sons Ernie Imhoff of Wooster, Douglas (Joyce) Imhoff of Sterling and James (Barb) Imhoff of West Salem; grandchildren Seth (Abby) Imhoff, Jennifer Imhoff, Cassie (Christopher) Potvin, Kirsten (Andrew) Kurtz, Hannah Imhoff, Alyssa (Spencer) Brannon, Heidi Imhoff, and McCoy Imhoff; a brother Donald Imhoff of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and two sisters Beulah Bowman, and Ethel Morris.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Mohican Church, 7759 Elyria Rd., West Salem, Ohio 44287 with Pastors Paul Bartholomew and Chad Palmer officiating. Burial will follow in Mohican Church Cemetery.
Friends and family will be received on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and one hour prior to the service at the church.
