Michael Brann Ohl died, September 1, 2024 at Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare of Wooster, at the age of 59, following an extended illness.
Mike was born November 1, 1964, in Lima, Ohio, to the late Michael Edward Ohl and Carol Brann Ohl. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mitzi Leffel Ohl, who he fell in love with in the ninth grade and married on, January 4,1986.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a son, Brandon Ohl, daughter Elaine Ohl Worley and grandchildren Avrie Worley and Hunter Worley. He is also survived by grandmother Estrea Ohl, sisters Lisa Ohl Wagoner (Daryl) and Julianne Ohl Franklin (Arnold) and numerous aunts and cousins and nieces as well as faithful until the end friends, Andy Lavy and Mark Kaiser.
Mike was a 1983 graduate of Piqua High School. He studied environmental engineering at Wright State University. He began a sales career in high school working at Bill Edward’s Clothing. He went on to work in sales of furniture, pools, and RVs in Piqua and Troy. He was an avid reader and loved cooking, baking, playing guitar and collecting pipes among many other hobbies he took up over the years.
A private celebration of life will be planned at a future date.
