Judith M. Sigler, 85, of Wooster passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2024, in Wooster.

She was born on November 20, 1938, in Wooster to Walter and Ruby Martin Sherred.  On September 20, 1959, she married Devonne E. Sigler. This year marks their 65th wedding anniversary.   He survives.

Judy worked as an Office Administrator for Buckeye Container & CCI.  She retired on January 2, 2002.  She enjoyed flower gardening, reading, baking chocolate chip cookies & friendship bread, and attending her children’s, grandchildren’s and great grandchildren’s activities.  Judy had a tremendous love of Christmas and collecting Santas and Cat’s Meow pieces.

In addition to her husband Devonne, she is survived by her daughters Lynn (Andy) Carr of Wooster and Laurie Jo (Jim) Rehm of Smithville; grandchildren Sarah Jo (Andy) Bratcher of Smithville, Amy (Sean) Plank of Akron, Katy (Lepear) Smith of Smithville, Hannah Jo (Patrick) Barrios of Columbus, Adam (Nessa) Rehm of Smithville; great grandchildren Caden Bratcher, Addy Jo Bratcher, Caleb Plank, Tre Smith, Annie Smith, and Vonn Smith.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at 11:00 AM at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster, with Pastor Stephen Olsen officiating.  Burial to follow in Pleasant Hill Church Cemetery.

Friends will be received on Monday, September 9, 2024, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to Wooster Twp. Fire & Rescue Association, 1917 Millersburg Rd., Wooster, Ohio 44691.

  21. I’m so sorry to hear of Judy’s passing. I’m so glad we had a nice chat while we were exercising before I went on vacation. I will miss her smile and energetic attitude at Health Point. She was such a sweet lady. Hugs to all, especially Laurie (Becky 🙂 ) and Devonne.
