Paul Price, 91 of Shreve passed away September 4, 2024 at Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare in Wooster.

He was born on April 23, 1933 in Damascus Virginia to Blake R. and Carrie Trent Price.  He married his wife Shirley Roe on July 3, 1955 in Strasburg, Ohio.   She preceded him in death on April 27, 2021.  They were married 66 years till her passing.

Paul served in the Korean War from 1953 to 1955.   He was employed by the Akron Brass Co. as a machinist for 37 years retiring in 1994.  Paul enjoyed woodworking and yard work.  He was 1 of 7 children.

He is survived by a brother David and sister Virginia of North Carolina; a son Jeff (Ann) Price of Wooster; and two grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by three brothers Tom, Bud, and Ronald and a sister Linda and his parents.

The family would like to thank both Wooster Community Hospital and Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare staff for their care.

There will be a private family service.

McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.

  2. I had the pleasure of working with him many years ago at akron brass. Paul had a very pleasant personality, a great sense of humor, and an infectious laugh. My thoughts are with his family.
