Brian Keith Van Dyne, 61, of Wooster died on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at his home.

He was born September 12, 1963, in Wooster to Isaac and Peggy McConahay Van Dyne.

Brian had worked in the tire business for both Smetzer’s Tire and Raney Tire.  He loved the Pittsburgh Steelers, fishing and playing poker.  Brian was a member of the Eagles Aerie #811.

He is survived by his children Brian Van Dyne, Jr., Shirleen (Hanson Beasly) Van Dyne and Constance “Nikki” McManus; grandchildren Bryceton Van Dyne, Elliott McManus, Kendalyn McManus, Mackenzie Airhart, Dominic Beasley and Aaliyah Beasley; step grandchildren Kelsey Auckerman, Brian Auckerman, Stephen Auckerman, Braycen Miller,  Alyeyanna Miller and Benjamin Miller; siblings Donny Lewis, Cheryl Evans, Tammy, Dave, Isaac, Nikki, Shawn, Christy, Rickey, Stacey and Kim; his former wife, Connie Adams; loving niece Jourdyn Lewis along with many other nieces and nephews.

Brian was preceded in death by his parents, stepfather Don Lewis and brothers Michael Van Dyne and Rick Van Dyne.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2024 at 11:00 AM at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster.  Interment will follow in Reedsburg Cemetery.

Friends will be received on Wednesday from 5:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home.
