Scott David Courson, 60, born in Barberton, Ohio, passed away on Monday, September 23, 2024 at his home from natural causes.

He was a loving father, passionate soccer coach, and an unwavering supporter of the Cleveland Browns, Cavaliers, and Guardians. He graduated from Wooster High School, earned his degree from the University of Akron, and later completed his MBA at Ashland University. His infectious laugh and warm personality will be fondly remembered by all.

Scott is survived by his wife and best friend of 44 years, Cynthia; his children, Elizabeth (Thomas) Dail, Samantha (Zack) Caldwell, Taylor Courson (Gino Stormer), Stuart Courson; and his beloved granddaughter, Nellie Dail. He also leaves behind his stepmother, Brenda Courson; his siblings, Bill (Ginger) Courson, Becky (William) Moore, and Todd (Whitney) Courson and many nieces and nephews. Scott was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Cheryl Courson.

In honor of Scott and in lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that you donate to your local chapter of the American Red Cross. Scott took a lot of pride in donating blood as much as he could.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2024, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster, Ohio.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
