Roy M. Stamey, 69, of Wooster, passed away on October 1, 2024.

Roy was born April 23, 1955, in Lenoir, North Carolina, the son of Roy E. and Beatrice (Simmons) Stamey.  He spent much of his early life in North Carolina, eventually attending college at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where he met his wife of 41 years, Melissa Williams.

Along with his wife, he is survived by nephews Gregory Sheets and Joshua Sheets, nieces Karin Marciniak and Jamie Smetzer, and sister in law, Elizabeth Sheets.

There will be no services at this time.
