Carol Ann Schrier, 76, of Wooster passed away Friday, November 15, 2024 at Wayne County Care Center.

She was born August 4, 1948, in Cleveland to Jack and Shirley Portman Glaser.  On September 8, 1968, she married Shelley Keith Schrier.  He survives.

Carol worked as a licensed massotherapist for many years.  She had a love of baking, animals especially cats, singing, playing piano, cross stitching, and needle point.  Carol had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh.

In addition to her husband Shelley, she is survived by her children Bill Schrier of Wooster, Bob (Amy) Schrier of Karmiel, Isreal, and Julie “Starlynn” (Morris) Atwood of Wooster; grandchildren Asher, Micah, Naomi, Peninah and Zacharia Schrier; siblings Debra Glaser of North Carolina and Barbara (Ron) Ludman of Boston.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral Service will be held on Monday, November 18, 2024 at 11:00 AM at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster, with Cantor Beth Friedman-Romell officiating.  Interment will follow in Wooster Cemetery.

There will be no calling hours.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to Wayne County Care Center, 876 S. Geyers Chapel Rd., Wooster, Ohio 44691 or Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare, 1900 Akron Rd., Wooster, Ohio 44691.

  9. Shelley, Andy and I are very sorry to hear about Carol. We have great memories from our days at Brush HS and the BBG parties we had. Carol and I had our lockers next to each other and our seats behind each other in homeroom for 3 years. WE were always comparing our color coordinating outfits.   15. I am so sorry to hear about Carol’s passing. She was my cousin and we also went to elementary school together. Another fond memory I have is when we both went to Camp Wise in Painesville. Carol and I attended Ohio State University at the same time as well. Carol was just a sweetheart of a gal. My deepest sympathies to her entire family.
