Brian W. Judd, 73, of Wooster passed away Sunday, November 24, 2024 at his home.

He was born on March 24, 1951, in Wooster to Dr. Ebert E. and Nyla Power Judd.  On August 12, 1989, he married Debra A. Luxeder.  She survives.

Brian was co-owner of Balloons Unlimited.  He enjoyed working on cars, taking care of his yard, and spending time at home.

In addition to his wife Debra, he is survived by his children Megan (Gary Jr.) Bunch of Wooster, Alexis Judd of Copley, Courtney (Josh) Hershberger of Shreve, and Bryan (Jen) Shirey of Creston; grandchildren Sierra Rolf, Michael (Mackenzie) Rolf, Zachariah Hershberger, Raegan Shirey, Kason Shirey, Chloe Bunch, and J.J. Maurer; great grandchild Lainey Kemp; siblings Courtney (Nannette) Judd of Alabama, Francie Judd of Colorado, Alan Judd of Alabama, Gayle (Jeff) Judd of Indiana, Anita Judd of Wooster; brother in law Michael (Celeste) Luxeder of Texas; sister in law Brenda (Mark) Kantola of Pennsylvania; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister in law Sandra Luikhart; mother & father-in-law Carol & Gene Neyhart; father-in-law Alex Luxeder.

Service of Remembrance will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at 4:00 PM at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster, with Pastor Ken Wengerd officiating.

Friends will be received on Saturday from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the funeral home to help defray expenses.

  2. Great Guy!! We always had a few laughs when we’d see other. Just saw Brian a few weeks ago. Shocked to hear of his passing. Prayers to Brian’s family. Rest in Peace my old friend!!

  30. What a kind and thoughtful man. He and Deb were so helpful during Travis campaign years ago. I think Brian carried in nearly a 1,000 balloons to the Fairgrounds! We still talk about how they managed to do that the entire week! Sincerest sympathies to the entire Judd family.
