Myra Lowe Olah, 87, of Wooster passed away Tuesday, November 26 2024 at Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare.

She was born on April 28, 1937 in Ashland, KY to William Watson and Elizabeth Kesling Atkins. Myra was the oldest of five kids.

Myra taught high school in St. Louis in the mid to late 60’s and then was a homemaker & seamstress through her 70’s.  She volunteered as a seamstress for Ohio Light Opera.  She enjoyed making wall hangings and quilts.

She is survived by her sons Scot (Tina Durbin) Olah of Pensacola, FL. and Tod Olah of Columbus; grandchildren Stephanie (Travell) Wright and Cheryl Webb; great grandchildren Theo and Mila Wright and Adelyn Durbin.

Myra was preceded in death by her husband Arthur F. Olah; parents, and siblings Rose Roberts, Carolyn Smith, Rebecca Fannin, and Nan Sweeney.

Private services will be held.

McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.

  1. Art and Myra were our neighbors when we lived next to them many years ago .
    We enjoyed their friendship .
    We are very sorry to hear of their passing .
