Charles “Chuck” Ingles Laird, Jr.

Charles “Chuck” Ingles Laird, Jr., 55, of Orrville and formerly of Wooster died on Sunday, December 1, 2024 at Orrville Pointe.

He was born June 4, 1969 in Troy to Charles I. and Geraldine Scott Laird, Sr.

Chuck enjoyed collecting Matchbox and Hot Wheels, working on cars, collecting and scrapping junk with his kids.  He was a loving father, son, grandfather, brother and uncle.

Chuck is survived by his wife Christina Bonam Laird; sons David Laird and Charles I. Laird, III both of Wooster; many grandchildren; mother Gerri Stillwagner of Wooster; sister Susan Williams of Wooster; brother Dean (Marie) Laird of Wooster; niece Beth (Ronny) Dungan of Wooster along with many other nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his father and a brother David Whiteted.

A Service of Remembrance will be held at a later date.

McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.

  3. Christine, I don’t know how you and the boys will get through this. At least you have Dean and the rest of the family to help you through this. Pat and I remember Chuck as someone who was constantly wanted to limit the amount of time you guys stayed at one place because he always had some place that he had to be, Rest in Peace Chuck this is not good-bye but until we meet again.
