William Edward Landis, age 77, of Wooster, Ohio passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at Smithville Western Care Center after a long battle with Parkinson and Dementia.

Bill was born on February 16,, 1947 in Wooster and was the son of Betty and Dick Landis, now deceased.  He married Nancy Pasquariello on September 16, 1978.  They were married for 46 years.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Nancy, is a brother Rich (Barb) Landis, a sister Joy (Ron) Durham and many nieces and nephews.

Bill graduated from Wooster High School in 1965 and enlisted in the United State Air Force and served his country in Vietnam from 1967-1968.  After returning to the states, he worked at Orrville Products, retiring in 2013 after 32 years.  He then worked part time at Buehler’s for 10 years.

He will be dearly missed.  Bill was a loving, giving, kind and caring man and was loved by everyone that knew him.

We wish to thank Smithville Western Care Center and Ohio’s Hospice, LifeCare for the excellent care given to Bill.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church, 527 Beall Ave., Wooster with Father David Chojnacki officiating.  Entombment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Gardens.

There will be no calling hours.
