Suddie Mae Blosser Lengacher, cherished wife devoted mother, and loving grandmother known for her unwavering commitment to her family has now entered the presence of God, on Wednesday, December 25, 2024, where she will surely hear the words, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”

She was born in Barberton on March 20, 1940, to Lawrence and Anna Rose Pikla Blosser.

After graduating in 1958 from Rittman High School she married the love of her life, Russell, whom she met in the sixth grade.  If you asked either of them, they would tell you that’s when they both knew.  They were blessed to share 66 wonderful years of marriage together.

They moved onto their farm in Rittman and spent their early married years raising five children who made them so proud.  Suddie’s greatest joy came from her children; Randy (Jean) Lengacher, Tari (Paul) Kaminsky, Ann Marie (Carl) Calhoun, Michael (Sally) Lengacher, and Kim (Chad) Winland; her precious grandchildren Rusty, Michael Shane and Abby Lengacher, and Marley Weaver; great granddaughter Skyla; and a sister Pauline Gaugler.

Together Russ and Suddie owned and operated Shearer Equipment successfully for 18 years, where employees were not just employees, but more like family.  Suddie had an eye for decorating and a talent for floral arrangements.  After retirement, Suddie volunteered with Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare to bring comfort to those during the end of life.

Suddie taught everyone in her family, leading by example.  She was bountiful of her time and unending with generosity, encouraging with her words, and unwavering with her love and prayers.  Suddie was truly an angel on earth.

A faithful woman, and a member of Central Christian Church, Suddie was looking forward to reuniting in heaven with family, and friends who passed before her, especially her oldest son Randy; and two sisters Violet Davis and Betty Figura.

To have known Suddie was to experience the warmth of her kindness, the depth of her compassion, and love in abundance.  She touched the lives of ALL who knew her.

Suddie was loved by so many who cared for her during the past year in addition to her immediate family.  The family would like to extend heartfelt appreciation to Sallie Frase and Abby Lengacher for the in-home love and support they provided, to Dr. Dana Bonezzi, Rhonda with palliative care and the exceptional staff at Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare who provided comfort and support in her final days.

Funeral Service will be on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Central Christian Church, 407 N. Market St., Wooster with Rev. Tom Benter officiating.   Burial to follow at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.

Friends will be received on Friday, December 27, 2024 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster and one hour prior to the service at the church.

In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare, 1900 Akron Rd., Wooster, Ohio 44691.
