  6. Ginny was the best ! I was a bartender for the Wooster Elks Lodge back in the 1980’s, when Bill C. & Ginny ran the kitchen. Every night that I worked Ginny would come out behind the bar & tell me that I had a hot meal waiting on me in the kitchen. She’d say, “you skinny, you need to eat” ! I ate like a king ! Will never forget her kindness.

  7. Dear Glen, aka Butch per Ginny; and Amanda; and all family/friends of Ginny: As you know, Ginny was my “pretend mom” for many years. She fed me every time I entered her home, taught me how to cook (especially spaghetti sauce), allowed me to bounce ideas off her during my teenage years, helped me cope with my home life, and was always kind to my entire family. Then, after I grew up and got married, she became my neighbor in my own back yard. Trina and Amanda grew up together. Glen Jr., Emmet, and I grew up together. I will always cherish my 54-year friendship with Ginny. I will remember her wisdom, guidance, and beautiful garden. Thank you for hanging out with me all those years. Many evenings, I would hang out with Ginny and Glen Sr. Just reminiscing, laughing, talking, and carrying on until the wee hours in the morning. I remember Amanda looking out the window over to our house just waiting for Trina to get home so they could play. I ran across a college paper prepared at Roanoke College, and the Fath family was the topic! All is Kirks loved all the Fath’s, then, now, and forevermore. Ginny always included everyone in her love, and taught me to accept people as they are. Thank you Ginny Fath…for being such a wonderful d to me, my kids, and my entire family. Even as a crossing guard she spread joy and love to multiple generations. Ginny, you are my hero. Glen, thanks for all the good times…with Emmet, with Amanda, and for opening up your home to me for all those years. Every time I returned to Wooster, Ginny was the first person I would visit. Now that I’ve lived in NC for twenty years, I appreciate Wooster so much more. My love goes out to you all. I look forward to seeing you on May 3 at the Elks. So many people were fortunate enough to know and love Ginny Fath. Let us celebrate her life! I have always told Ginny that I want to be like her when I grow up! I know she is now the Number One Angel in Heaven…in charge of many areas. I will remember all the great times together…forever!
