Arlie Edward Johnson, 73 of Apple Creek died on Friday, January 3, 2025 at Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare.

He was born March 23, 1951 in Montgomery, WV.  Arlie served his country in the U.S. Army during VietNam where he met his lifelong friend LeRoy Schouest.

Arlie enjoyed carving different things in wood and collecting knives.

He is survived by his wife Linda Moore Johnson; sisters Veda (Walter) Campbell and Lisa (Thomas) Duncan; brothers Jeff (Amy) Johnson and Greg Johnson; brothers-in-law Bill (Mary) Taylor, Lee (Doris) Moore, Keith (Cindy) Moore; many nieces, nephews and cousins; close friends Joe (Heather) VonBergen and their family, LeRoy (Sybil) Schouest and their family and the fur babies Gracie and Lily.  Also surviving is a very special young lady to Arlie and Linda, Dawn Krouse; Tim Neff who was their nephew, but more like a son, who they helped raise.  In their eyes, he is their son and they love him with all of their hearts.  He is always a blessing to them, along with his wife Marilyn and his son Zane.

He and his wife Linda lived and worked in Houston, TX for over 30 years where they got close to three special families which became their family.
