David E. Rogers, 68, of Lakeville, Ohio passed away Monday, January 6, 2025, at Wooster Community Hospital.
He was born on November 16, 1956, in Wooster to Ronald Rogers and Louise Gentry Gregg.
David retired from Diamonite of Shreve after being there for over 30 years. He was a member of the Eagles in Loudonville, enjoyed shooting pool, fishing, playing guitar and spending time outdoors with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife Deb Butterbaugh; children Jessica Rogers of Big Prairie, Jamie (Laura) Rogers of Big Prairie, Jackie (Kyree) Saeed of Lima, and Michael (Heather) Butterbaugh of Wooster; grandchildren Kortney Shallenberger, Jared Shallenberger, Billy Litten, Breanna Gilbert, Darien Rogers, Tamara Butterbaugh, James Holden, Kody Butterbaugh, and Austin Butterbaugh; twelve great grandchildren; siblings Laura Bradford, Robin Easterday, Butch Rogers, and Paula (Leonard) Ball all of Wooster; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends Bonnie Miller, and Scott Arnholt.
David was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister Cindy Grosjean.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.

The Rogers family was a customer on my childhood paper route. I remember David as an infant, toddler and of early grade school age. He was a sweet child as was his mother, Louise. God bless his family.
