Virginia C. Landfair, 91, of Big Prairie passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare in Wooster.

She was born on August 27, 1933 in Wooster to Virgil and Iola Sloan Runkle.  On June 7, 1953 she married Donald E. Landfair.  He preceded her in death in February 2020.

Virginia was a homemaker, along with helping her husband farm for many years.  She was a member on the Holmesville Church of Christ.  Virginia was an avid bird watcher.

She is survived by her children Steven Landfair of Shreve, Candy (Ralph) Armstrong of Portland, IN, Mike (Terri) Landfair of Nashville, OH; grandchildren Ray (Ann), Cathy, Chris, Jason (Lynn), Billie (Matt), Josh (Rachel), Randee (Luke), and Darin Morris; many great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.

Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; her parents; children Linda Alday, Sandy Landfair, and infant son Donald E. Landfair; grandchild Kevin Morris; and sisters Patricia Grimwood, and Shirley First.

Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at 1:00 PM at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster with Pastor Willie Parrot officiating.  Burial to follow at Wooster Cemetery.

Friends will be received Tuesday from 11:00 to 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
