  2. Skip was a special person. No matter where he was I always got my ” Hey Sis!” and a huge hug. I will miss that smile! Growing up at the restaurant he was like a grand father to me and that never changed over the years. He supported my husband and I at Bishop’s. He is going to be truly missed.

  4. May we all get to have a “Skip” in our path through life. I will miss this inconspicuous, hard working, highly mischievous, ring leader of conversation and emotionally wealthy character with my whole heart. It’s no wonder losses such as these sting so much.. for there are few others that can fill the space left by such a fantastic human.

    Love you more

  10. My sincere sympathies to Nancy ,Dick, and Skips family. Being an import to Lodi at age of nine I immediately became friends with Nancy at school and spent many times at the Bryant’s house and always felt welcome. It was the. I met Nancy’s brothers and thought it was cool as Skip her big brother was a teenager and in high school. I’d never known a high schooler personally and Skip didn’t disappoint. He was always fun to be around and was always good to us. While he did have a mischievous side he convinced Nancy and myself that there was a 6 foot long black snake up on the railroad tracks and gave us the exact location he saw it. Nancy and I immediately walked up and down the railroad tracks and never found that snake luckily as if we had we would have panicked. He was home laughing at us the whole time. My last memory of Skip in Lodi was Nancy and I walking to his apartment to see his new beautiful baby girl.
Being gone from Lodi I hadn’t seen Skip for maybe 50 years and then realized he was here in Wooster.
I remember him as a fun but good big brother may he rest in peace. He for sure will be missed by anyone who knew him.

  11. We sure will miss Skip in our neighborhood. Skip, you were such a fun-loving, kind, helpful man always ready with a garden tool, lawn tractor and a very infectious smile. Over the 30+ years we have felt the emptiness for many of our wonderful neighbors move on and pass on. Skip we will miss you greatly. And, Josie Gardner, you said it very well. Thank you Skip. we love you. Doug and Jojo
