  2. Katie Gallo is a beautiful Christian woman who loved her husband Paul and her three children, Donald, Judy and Paula, her gran and great gran children and their large extended family. My wife Judy looks like Katie. Katie treated me with love and acceptance when I joined her family. I have come to love her as if she was my mother. She will be missed by everyone who knew her. But it helps to know that she is with her Lord and her husband Paul and her extended family.

  5. I am so sorry to learn of Katie’s passing. I recall the most wonderful days at the house when I would get the chance to do an overnight with Judy, which Katie often happily allowed us to do. Those nights always included amazing food and letting us spread out 4-H projects, twirl our batons, do cartwheels or whatever we wanted in their yard. Katie was such a classy lady. I always thought she was so gorgeous. No matter where she was, she just looked stunning. I am grateful for her support and love over my high school years. Thank you and God bless you, Mrs. Gallo. Judy, Paula and Donnie, please know we are thinking of you, and know these past couple of years with the loss of your dad, too, have been hard.

  9. Grandma Gallo was a beautiful person in every way an amazing example of a Catholic mother. Always had a rosary handy. Raised amazing children and devoted grandchildren leaving a family legacy. And she was so very proud of every single one Not only a spectacular cook, but could make everyone feel welcome. A great devotion to Padre Pio. Supported and encouraged everyone in whatever goals they had. Family was everything to her.
A recent major surgery and other complications have made it difficult for Don Gallo, Mary, Jane,, Paul, Michaela, Julie, and Joe to join you. We will be there in heart and soul and we’ll have Masses said in her honor.

Your Mom, along with your Dad, were always fun to be around and visits to their home and cottage at the lake were not to be missed. Aunt Katie was a kind and sweet woman who always made my Mom happy to spend time together. I know she’s an angel looking down on us now, enjoying her heavenly reward and reunion with Uncle Pauly and all her sisters and brothers, the Nollettis, Thomasettis and Gallos in heaven. So sorry to hear about your mom passing. I have fond memories of playing football with Donnie and the neighbors in your back yard. Your mom would have a treat for us of pizzelles after playing. That was my first taste of good Italian cookies because of her we now make them at our house. Also, great memories of boating with the Gallo’s over many years. Thoughts and prayers to all of you and your families. I really wanted to be there in person but got the flu that is going around.
