Deborah L. Zarlengo-Mellert, 69, of Wooster passed away Wednesday February 12 ,2025 at Wooster Community Hospital.
She was born March 4, 1955, in Wooster to Patrick J. and Wilma “Tina” Daugherty Zarlengo.
Deborah retired from Luk after many years. She loved music and animals. Deborah was always the center of attention; she was very artistic and loved having a good time and being with her family.
She is survived by her siblings Kathy (Tony) Poling of Apple Creek, Tony Zarlengo (Cara Miles) of Wooster, Carole (Ray) Hicks of Shreve, Chrissy (Gabe) Thompson of Wooster, many nieces and nephews.
Debrorah was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Vickie Angle.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Wayne County Humane Society 1161 Mechanicsburg Rd., Wooster, Ohio 44691.
Services will be announced at a later date. McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.

Oh Deb…this doesn’t seem real. For the past 2 days I have relived all the good times and I’ll never forget us hitchhiking to Florida when we were just 18 years old. One of many ” adventures”.

Debbie was a classmate of mine. I met her in junior high. We had fun, great laughs, and would run into each other now and then in our older years. May the wind be at your back with a song in your heart, you will be missed. Hugs and prayers to your family.
