  2. We, at Shreve Dollar General, will certainly miss our “Rolo Guy”. He always had to have a pint of Rolo Ice Cream. Hambone has been a wonderful regular at our store since I started there 4 yrs ago. We offer our sincere condolences and will remember his humor and smile.

  19. Condolences to all the Manges Family. Growing up with the Manges Brothers was always an adventure. We could always find fun whether fishing in the Shreve Swamp or swimming at the Dam for the mill race for Kister Mill. Not surprising that cousin Ken in his youth could help provide wild live to the family. Nice to see the nice comments to ‘Ham Bone’. Harry Morris, Florida

  22. I’m so sorry to hear of Hambone’s passing. I still have so many great memories of playing cards, making him fudge every Christmas (that man and his sweets lol), and him and Dan always bringing back so many mushrooms from their hunts that we bought an extra freezer for that and whatever else they decided sounded good from the woods. He was such a great guy, my condolences to all of you.
