I am so sorry for your loss, Sue. Sending prayers of comfort.
Kitty–such sad news. The last time I saw Terry was at a class reunion and we were all having fun dancing to ‘American Pie.’ My condolences to you and the rest of the Alkire family.
Sue and family, I am so sorry for Terry’s death. Love you.
Terry and I were high school classmates. I last saw Terry at our 25th high school reunion at the Athens Country Club. His always sweet and quiet twin sister Kathy was present (I believe). I recall when we were in middle school in Stewart, Ohio that Terry slipped on the outdoor basketball courts and had a serious head injury. It frightened me and I always remember that! Prayers are with the family!
I knew this day was coming, but I didn’t want to face the fact.
My wombmate, my twin, my brother, took his last breath.
We couldn’t have been more different, you and I.
You had blue eyes; mine were brown.
You had red hair; mine was brown.
I would tan; you just turned beet red.
You were very opinionated; me, just a bit – well, okay, it depended on the subject. 😉
You were always telling people we were identical twins, except I had more hair than you. 🤔😆 That was true.
Breathe easy, Terry, for you are the lucky one.
No more pain, no more burdens.
I will watch for the signs you send.
Terry Blaine Alkire (3-13-1957 / 3-08-2025).
You are greatly missed already. I love you.
