Obituary for Linda Katherine Zimmerer
Linda Katherine Zimmerer, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2025.
She was born on December 1, 1948, in Loudonville, Ohio to H.A. (Al) and Clara (Hendricks) Zimmerer.
After graduating from Dalton High School Linda went on to get her bachelor’s degree in theology. She worked with a number of Catholic churches throughout her career. An avid reader, Linda also loved drawing, highlighting a talent in portraits. She enjoyed playing cards with her friends and family as well as taking walks on sunny days.
She is survived by her sister Susan Wise of Roanoke, VA, nine nieces and nephews, and sixteen great nieces and nephews.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents and siblings John Zimmerer of Wooster, OH and Barbara Stute.
A private service will be held at 1:30 PM on Friday, March 21, 2025, with burial to follow at St. Mary’s cemetery in Wooster, OH. McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.

Linda and I were childhood friends..her mother Clara was our elementary art teacher in Loudonville. I spent time with her family as I often caught a ride to school with them. Linda and I lost touch after the Zimmerers moved away. But I fondly remember that sweet young girl.
