Judy K. Wirt, 80, of Wooster, passed away Thursday, April 10, 2025, at Wooster Community Hospital.

She was born July 10, 1944, in Ashland to Kenneth and Maxine Laughery Campbell.  On October 24, 1964, she married Roger Wirt.  He preceded her in death.

Judy was a 1963 graduate of Triway High School.  Judy along with her husband was owner and operator of the dairy farm for over 33 years.  She was a member of Plain Lutheran Church and a treasurer of Plain Cemetery Association and member of Plain Ladies Aid at the church.  Judy enjoyed reading, puzzles, cross-stitch and adult coloring books.

She is survived by her daughter Marilyn (David) Balint of Wooster; granddaughter Lauren Balint of California, and nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband Roger, Judy was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Kenneth Campbell and Joyce Devore.

Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2025, at 10:00 AM at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster. with Pastor Rob Moskowitz officiating.  Interment to follow at Plain Cemetery.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

To my loving Aunt, you were such a joy be around, I have so many memories of when I was Child, being a city boy , it was always a wonderful moment when I could come and spend summers with you, Uncle Roger, cousin Marilyn & any of my Four siblings that was to go as well, I loved it when you would travel to Ashland to see the family, I always looked forward to family reunions, Christmases, & those special summers down on the farm, Thanks for filling my heart with those memories, you were truly a very special person in my life. So fly high my sweet Angel, say hello to those in. heaven, They will be waiting for your arrival, our loss, heaven’s gains a wonderful Angel.

    Your mom was a wonderful, Christian woman. Our mother, LaVonne Sidle Hider, loved talking to Judy and discussing their ancestry, antiques, the farm etc.

    Judy was always so warm and welcoming and ready to offer a helping hand. Truly a blessing to be around.
